There’s so much to do in downtown St. Petersburg that deserves a visit. With an average of 361 days of sunshine, renowned museums, outdoor activities and a wide variety of restaurants, there’s something for everyone. Including craft beer lovers! Beer lovers will be amazed the number of breweries in St. Petersburg For this article though, we’re focusing only on the breweries in the area of downtown St. Petersburg, since there are enough to keep you busy for several days.

Note: The streets of downtown St. Petersburg are easy to navigate since they’re in a grid pattern. Avenues go from east to west; street run north and south. Anything north of Central Avenue has a N designation while anything south of Central Avenue will have a S designation. An address of 254 3rd Avenue N would be located between 2nd St. N and 3rd St N on 3rd Ave N.

Getting Around Downtown St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg has Coast rental bikes to help you explore the breweries of downtown St. Petersburg. Just download the app, put in your credit card number and unlock the bike. The timer turns off when the bike is locked into one of the Coast racks. Interested in traditional bike rentals? There are plenty of bike rental shops depending on where you start your bike trip.

In addition to renting a bike, St. Petersburg now has e-scooters available for rental as well.

Where to Stay

St. Petersburg has plenty of hotels and home rentals available. To explore the breweries, try to stay downtown or in the surrounding areas you can bike or walk from.
